Smoot
Type: Interoperability
Smoot is a modular, vendor-agnostic interoperability framework designed to enable seamless communication and execution across diverse blockchain networks—both homogeneous and heterogeneous. Smoot adheres to the Enterprise Ethereum Alliance’s DLT Interoperability Specification and supports a wide range of cross-chain relayer mechanisms and smart contract environments.
Built on three core layers, Messaging, Function Call, and Application, Smoot facilitates secure data exchange, cross-chain operations, and unified workflows. Its reusable codebase and componentized architecture empower developers to create scalable, open source cross-chain applications free from vendor lock-in.
