LF Japan Community Days Osaka

October 21 10:00 AM-October 22 5:30 PM JST

The LF Japan Evangelist Program, which leads and supports the Linux Foundation's (LF) open source promotion activities in Japan with experts active on the front lines, has been in operation for one year and has made great strides in Japan's open source community activities. In areas where Japanese companies and communities are particularly active, the program has steadily achieved results by hosting meetups, translating, giving talks, and writing.

LF Japan evangelists have planned the first community-wide event, "LF Japan Community Days," with the first event scheduled for two days, October 21st and 22nd, in Osaka. By jointly hosting a community event, evangelists who normally work in their own specialized fields will promote collaboration between communities and provide an opportunity to gain cross-sectional knowledge. The location has also been chosen for its easy accessibility, making it easy for people in the Kansai area, where local events have not been held in the past, to participate.

The first day will feature a keynote speech, panel discussions, and an evening reception. The second day will feature in-depth discussions in breakout sessions covering various fields. This is a free event open to anyone interested in open source community activities. We look forward to your participation.
