As digital money infrastructure matures, more institutions are converging on the same providers for custody, reserves, and connectivity. This concentration brings efficiency and security benefits, but also creates correlated risk: a single provider’s failure, outage, or reserve issue can propagate across multiple institutions.
This roundtable brings regulators and industry together to examine resilient design as tokenization scales and the market consolidates. The discussion will cover technical redundancy, structural safeguards, transparency of dependency chains, and governance during a shared-provider failure. It aims to produce principles on where responsibility should sit across these chains.
